Olivia Holmes’s Campaign
I am 23 years old. I started boxing when I was 8 years of age. From a young age I started to pick up national titles, resulting in being 8X National Champion, 2 being in the Elite senior championships.
I’m a Former Team GB member for GB boxing. After competing at the highest level internationally as an amateur boxer for around 3 and a half years on the squad picking up 12 international medals on my journey. I have now made the decision to leave and turn over professional. I now have new goals set for myself going forward, starting my new journey. Which is to win multiple titles in the professional ranks and to ultimately become a World Champion which I know I will achieve in the near future. I’m hoping to make my professional debut before the end of the year!
I was currently on a program where I received funding. Although now as a professional it’s a lot different for me, I don’t have the support from my NGB and no funding to support my costs. Which makes it financially a lot more difficult for me, especially at the start of a very big career ahead.
Any support I receive as a professional athlete, I would be very grateful for. This helps me massively towards my travel costs, equipment , services I use and costs of training I dedicate myself towards.
